Dj - Ztrip
This man is an inspiration. Not only, his dj skills but his knowledge and love of music are beyond the realms of fashion. I like to think he stops the emotional good in music and so can take the best of anything and reshape it into something special.
I discovered him many years ago and have been a fan ever since. Last year he took a stand with Shepard Fairet/Obey to raise awareness of Obama and his own anto War ideals. Djing at several fundraisers. Just imagine how odd it would be for a hip Dj to do a fund raiser for your local politicians. At first it took guts and as you will here alot of hard work and thinking to prepare the music and samples.
This mix is the Party for Change 2008. There have been Victory Lap mixes but Party for change seems so much stronger. The moment Sam Cooke sings tyour know it must have been special to be in the crowd. But the moment Daft Punk are resampled saying OBAMA must have been mental.

He became widely known when his collaboration with DJ P, Uneasy Listening, Vol. 1, was released in 2001. Only 1000 copies were made, but the album was soon distributed over the Internet. "Uneasy Listening" topped many critics best album of year lists, including: Rolling Stone, Spin, Entertainment Weekly, URB, LA Times and NY Times. And some how ended up in Urban Outfitters Dublin. This was the soundtrack to a great summer long before 2manydjs started opening up the world.
It includes amazing mixes of the Beastie Boys, Ac-dc, Metalica, Pink Floyd, Phil Collins, The Beatles, Phrycide, - don't let some of those names put you off this will be always on your play lists.
